| Disability Information & Support Services are able to provide a confidential, Impartial advice service for disabled people and carers. |

| Advice, Information and Support for Adults & Children with Disabilities or Illness and their Carers |
| Trained Volunteer Advisers can provide general advice on means tested benefits and specialist advice on Disability Living Allowance and Attendance Allowance Assistance with form completion and representation at Tribunals is also available |

| Aids & Equipment |
| We have information on Equipment available for a wide range of uses including wheelchairs, bath aids, clothing, equipment for daily life and much more. We can also inform you of what equipment is available on loan – and how to receive it. |

| There are many clubs and societies set up specifically for disabled people, both nationally and locally. The service has information on all the organisations that cater for disabled people. |

| Mobility |
| If you need information about accessible transport or the Motability Scheme we can assist you with advice and information. |

| Organisations and Services Allied to Medicine |
| We have information on a wide range of voluntary services from National Groups to local support groups. We can also give information on local Health and Social Services Departments. The service also advocates, on behalf of the disabled community, to such agencies as the Department of Works and Pensions and local Health and Social Services Departments. |
